It has been said that all good things must come to an end and this holds true for one of our brands. Starting next Thursday we will be phasing out our Flagship beer, Volunbeer, for legal reasons. We know people love the beer itself, not just the brand. – – We thought how can we embody the spirit of our great city and keep making this beer for everyone to enjoy. After deliberating for quite some time, one of the choices stood out amongst the rest. – Thursday, December 7th we will be releasing a new flagship beer to replace Volunbeer. Welcome Scruffy City Lager to our lineup here at Next Level Brewing Company . It’s the same great beer as it’s predecessor made with 94% Tennessee grown products. We wanted the beer to keep the spirit of being local and we have found the perfect fit naming it after a popular nickname of our great city of Knoxville. – You will see Volunbeer in the market for awhile, but no more is being produced. Bare with us as we make the transition over to Scruffy City Lager. Gradually, Scruffy City Lager will take over the Volunbeer taps, and Volunbeer cans you see on the shelf.
